Remote Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) – New York Position Details Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Compensation: $115,000–$120,000 annually Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package Position Overview We are seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor to provide high-quality behavioral health services to clients across New York. The position involves supporting individuals, couples, families, and groups with a range of mental health concerns while maintaining a consistent standard of clinical care. The successful candidate will bring strong assessment skills, sound clinical judgment, and a collaborative approach to treatment. Core Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and identify treatment priorities Develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs and clinical presentation Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups Collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals to support coordinated and effective care Monitor client progress and modify treatment approaches when clinically appropriate Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation Uphold applicable ethical, confidentiality, and professional standards Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field. Active New York license (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT). A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience. Background in trauma, addiction, or family therapy is a plus.
