Work Remotely. Make a Real Difference. Help Change Lives.

Are you a licensed mental health therapist who wants the flexibility of working remotely without losing the connection, collaboration, and purpose that make clinical work meaningful?

At BasePoint, we believe quality mental healthcare should be accessible to every teen and young adult who needs it, regardless of where they live.

Through BP Reach, our virtual behavioral health program, we're bringing compassionate, evidence-based mental health treatment to adolescents, young adults, and families across Texas.

We're looking for a passionate, clinically driven Virtual Primary Therapist who wants to make a meaningful impact while delivering care from a remote work environment.

If you love helping young people navigate mental health challenges, enjoy building therapeutic relationships, and want to be part of a collaborative clinical team, this opportunity could be exactly what you're looking for.

Meaningful Clinical Work. From Wherever You Work in Texas.

As a Virtual Primary Therapist with BP Reach, you'll provide comprehensive mental health treatment through our virtual Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).

Unlike traditional outpatient teletherapy, this role allows you to be part of a coordinated treatment program, working closely with patients, families, and an interdisciplinary clinical team throughout the treatment journey.

You'll manage an assigned caseload, facilitate individual and group therapy, engage families, and help patients develop the skills and confidence they need to move forward.

Here's how you'll make an impact:

  • Build meaningful therapeutic connections. Provide individual therapy through secure telehealth sessions, helping adolescents and young adults navigate emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges.

  • Lead engaging virtual group therapy. Facilitate process-oriented and curriculum-based group sessions that promote connection, coping skills, resilience, and personal growth.

  • Strengthen families. Provide virtual family therapy and education, helping parents and caregivers better understand and support their loved ones.

  • Guide the treatment journey. Develop individualized treatment plans, monitor clinical progress, and coordinate discharge and aftercare planning.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Work alongside psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, and other behavioral health professionals to provide coordinated, patient-centered care.

  • Provide clinical support when it matters most. Use your clinical judgment, risk assessment, safety planning, and virtual crisis intervention skills to support patients during challenging moments.

  • Create meaningful connections through technology. Engage patients and families in a virtual environment while maintaining the same quality, compassion, and clinical standards expected in an in-person setting.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a therapist who combines strong clinical skills with compassion, accountability, and the ability to build meaningful relationships through telehealth.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.

  • Current Texas clinical license in one of the following categories:

    • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

    • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

    • Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) – must be under appropriate clinical supervision

    • Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-Associate) – must be under appropriate clinical supervision

  • Ability to successfully complete required CPR and Crisis Prevention Training before patient contact.

  • Strong communication, clinical assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills.

  • Ability to maintain a private, distraction-free, HIPAA-compliant remote workspace with reliable high-speed internet and phone access.

  • Ability to complete required in-person onboarding and training at a BasePoint location.

  • Ability to meet applicable background screening requirements.

We'd Love It If You Also Have:

  • Two or more years of post-licensure clinical experience.

  • Experience working with adolescents or young adults.

  • Experience in a PHP, IOP, residential treatment, inpatient psychiatric, or other behavioral health setting.

  • Experience providing individual, group, or family therapy through telehealth.

  • Experience facilitating therapeutic groups and engaging patients in a virtual environment.

  • Familiarity with electronic health records and virtual behavioral health platforms.

New to PHP/IOP or virtual behavioral healthcare? If you're passionate about adolescent mental health, have strong clinical skills, and meet our required qualifications, we encourage you to apply.

Why Join BP Reach?

The flexibility of remote work. The connection of a clinical team. The fulfillment of changing lives.

At BasePoint, we believe meaningful clinical work doesn't have to happen within the walls of a traditional clinic.

Through BP Reach, you'll help expand access to quality behavioral healthcare while remaining connected to a multidisciplinary team that shares your commitment to patients and families.

Here's what we offer:

  • Competitive Compensation: Starting at $65,000 annually, with higher compensation available based on experience and qualifications.

  • Remote Work: Deliver virtual mental health services while working remotely from Texas.

  • Shift Options: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM or 12:00 PM–9:00 PM.

  • Health & Wellness: Medical, dental, and vision insurance.

  • Financial Benefits: 401(k) and Health Savings Account.

  • Protection & Peace of Mind: Life insurance, AD&D, short-term and long-term disability, and supplemental insurance options.

  • Time to Recharge: Paid Time Off (PTO), 7 paid holidays, and 2 floating holidays.

  • Collaborative Clinical Environment: Work alongside a multidisciplinary team committed to providing exceptional behavioral healthcare.

  • Meaningful Clinical Experience: Provide individual, group, and family therapy while supporting patients throughout their treatment journey.

More Than Telehealth. A Chance to Transform Lives.

Sometimes, the most meaningful breakthroughs happen through a screen.

It's the teenager who finally feels heard. The young adult who begins to believe that things can get better. The family that learns how to reconnect and communicate in healthier ways.

Those moments matter, no matter where care takes place.

At BasePoint, our guiding question is:

"What Would I Want for My Family?"

That philosophy shapes how we care for our patients, support their families, and show up for one another.

If you're ready to bring your clinical expertise, compassion, and commitment to a team that's expanding access to mental healthcare across Texas, we'd love to meet you.
