Remote Mortgage Loan Officer

Role Overview:
A remote Mortgage Loan Officer role focused on building strong relationships with real estate agents and clients to facilitate home financing. The role involves consulting clients on financing solutions, including unique offerings like Equity Advance loans, and collaborating with agents to ensure a smooth home buying experience. You will manage a pipeline of 10-15 loans monthly, primarily for purchases, and support cross-team coordination within the organization. The position requires attending occasional networking events and providing weekend support as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Consult clients on financing options to meet their financial goals
• Develop relationships with agents and customers, serving as the expert on mortgage products
• Close a high percentage of leads and manage loan pipeline
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize customer outcomes
• Support weekend coverage periodically

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 3+ years lending experience with an active NMLS license (Georgia or Colorado)
• Strong sales and consultative skills to recommend suitable financial solutions
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities, including after-hours communication
• Deep knowledge of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA guidelines; familiarity with non-QM and renovation loans is a plus
• Technologically proficient, with experience in systems like Blend or Byte preferred
