While in-person exams are often necessary, your expertise will guide management of chronic conditions (e.g., glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration), triage acute symptoms, and interpret ophthalmic testing where available. Requirements : ● BC/BE in Ophthalmology ● Active California medical license ● Experience consulting on chronic and urgent ocular issues ● Clear communication with patients and primary care providers ● Must have a secure, HIPAA-compliant workspace ● Competent in remote patient education and care planning
