Is this job info correct?

We are sharing a specialised consulting opportunity for experienced Physics Experts in high-energy physics, mathematical physics, holography, and gravitational theory with strong expertise in AdS/CFT, on-shell gravitational actions, Weyl–Fefferman–Graham gauge methods, tensor algebra, and boundary curvature invariants.

Selected professionals will contribute to a frontier research-level benchmark focused on holography, AdS/CFT, Weyl anomalies, and higher-dimensional geometric structures in dimensions up to d8d \leq 8. Contributors may participate as Solvers, Auditors, or Adjudicators depending on subfield fit, seniority, and demonstrated hands-on experience. No prior experience in AI is required.

Key Responsibilities

AdS/CFT & Holographic Analysis

  • Analyse research-level problems involving the AdS/CFT correspondence
  • Evaluate holographic constructions and associated gravitational quantities
  • Interpret bulk-boundary relationships within relevant theoretical frameworks
  • Assess whether derivations are consistent with holographic principles
  • Identify conceptual or technical weaknesses in proposed solutions

On-Shell Gravitational Actions

  • Derive and review on-shell gravitational actions
  • Evaluate boundary contributions and regularisation procedures where relevant
  • Check consistency of action-based calculations
  • Compare alternative derivations and conventions
  • Identify missing terms, sign issues, or inconsistencies in gravitational calculations

Weyl–Fefferman–Graham Gauge

  • Work with Weyl–Fefferman–Graham gauge formulations
  • Analyse near-boundary expansions and geometric structures
  • Evaluate consistency of gauge choices and coordinate representations
  • Connect bulk geometric quantities with boundary data
  • Review technical derivations involving Fefferman–Graham-type expansions

Tensor Algebra & Differential Geometry

  • Develop and verify complex tensor expressions
  • Manipulate curvature tensors and geometric invariants
  • Apply differential-geometric methods to holographic calculations
  • Check contractions, index structure, symmetry properties, and dimensional consistency
  • Identify algebraic errors in long or technically involved derivations

Boundary Curvature Invariants

  • Analyse curvature invariants defined on holographic boundaries
  • Work with higher-dimensional structures in dimensions up to d8d \leq 8
  • Evaluate relations among curvature tensors, contractions, and invariant combinations
  • Verify whether proposed expressions satisfy expected symmetry and dimensional properties
  • Support consistent classification of higher-order geometric terms

Weyl Anomalies

  • Analyse holographic Weyl anomalies
  • Derive or verify anomaly-related expressions
  • Compare competing formulations and benchmark solutions
  • Evaluate the role of boundary geometry in anomaly calculations
  • Identify whether results are physically and mathematically consistent

Research Benchmark Evaluation

  • Develop rigorous research-level solutions
  • Review and audit technical derivations
  • Identify conceptual, geometric, algebraic, or methodological errors
  • Compare alternative approaches to the same problem
  • Provide detailed written feedback suitable for advanced theoretical-physics review

Solver, Auditor & Adjudicator Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Solver by independently developing complete technical solutions
  • Serve as an Auditor by checking derivations, tensor algebra, and physical interpretations
  • Serve as an Adjudicator when competing solutions require expert comparison
  • Clearly document assumptions and reasoning
  • Adapt project responsibilities based on research background and technical expertise

Ideal Profile

  • Advanced expertise in high-energy physics, mathematical physics, holography, or a closely related field
  • Strong direct experience with AdS/CFT
  • Demonstrated familiarity with on-shell gravitational actions
  • Strong understanding of holographic dualities
  • Extensive familiarity with Weyl anomalies
  • Experience with Fefferman–Graham expansions
  • Familiarity with Weyl–Fefferman–Graham gauge methods
  • Strong command of tensor algebra
  • Strong background in differential geometry
  • Experience working with boundary curvature invariants
  • Ability to handle higher-dimensional geometric expressions
  • Strong analytical and mathematical reasoning skills
  • Ability to communicate complex scientific ideas clearly in written and verbal formats
  • Experience reviewing advanced theoretical-physics work is highly valuable
  • No prior AI-training or model-evaluation experience is required

Engagement Details

  • Independent contractor engagement
  • Fully remote
  • Compensation: $80–$160/hour
  • Work will involve AdS/CFT, holography, on-shell gravitational actions, Weyl–Fefferman–Graham gauge methods, tensor algebra, differential geometry, boundary curvature invariants, and Weyl anomalies
  • Research problems may involve dimensions up to d8d \leq 8
  • Contributors may participate as Solvers, Auditors, or Adjudicators depending on expertise and seniority
  • Strong research-level mathematical-physics judgement is central to this engagement
  • Assignments may involve analytical derivations, tensor identities, holographic anomaly calculations, and advanced benchmark evaluation
  • Project scope, workload, technical topics, and evaluation standards may evolve depending on project requirements
  • Work must be completed without using confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, research institution, laboratory, collaborator, or other third party
