About the role

Our client is seeking an organised and enthusiastic Pricing Analyst & Back-Office Support professional to support our customs and logistics operations.

This combined role is responsible for obtaining air and sea freight rates, maintaining supplier rates, and providing clerical support to the operations team. Previous experience using CargoWise is essential.

Key responsibilities:

Pricing and commercial support

•Obtain and compare rates from shipping lines, airlines, transport providers, overseas agents and other suppliers.

•Analyse costs, margins and pricing options to support competitive and commercially sound quotations.

•Maintain supplier rates, tariffs and quotation records in CargoWise.

•Monitor rate validity, surcharges and changes to supplier pricing.

Back-office and operational support

•Create, update and maintain accurate job records in CargoWise.

•Assist with shipment documentation, data entry and general administration.

•Support job costing, accruals, invoicing and reconciliation of supplier charges against agreed rates.

•Maintain customer and supplier information, ensuring records are complete and current.

•Prepare pricing, cost and margin reports as required.

•Liaise with customers, suppliers and internal teams to obtain information and resolve queries.

Essential skills and experience

•Practical experience using CargoWise in a freight forwarding, customs or logistics environment.

•5+ years experience in freight pricing, job costing or logistics administration.

•Understanding of freight rates, surcharges and the costs associated with international shipments.

•Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.

•Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

•Clear written and verbal communication skills.

•Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

•A proactive approach to solving problems and supporting colleagues.

Desirable experience

•Experience with both air and sea freight pricing.

•Familiarity with Incoterms and import/export documentation.

•Exposure to Australian customs clearance and transport operations.

Salary range: $1500-$2200

Working hour ( Vietnam time): 6.00am – 3.00pm (includes 1 hour lunch break)

Work from home/ we will pay for internet/ supply laptop/ screens/ allowance for stationery

One round interview – written assessment required.
