This is a full-time remote role for a Purchasing Agent at SPICES USA INC. Needs to live in El Salvador.The Purchasing Agent will be responsible for managing purchase orders, negotiating contracts, handling procurement activities, and providing excellent customer service on a daily basis.

Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Purchasing Agent at SPICES USA INC. Needs to live in El Salvador.The Purchasing Agent will be responsible for managing purchase orders, negotiating contracts, handling procurement activities, and providing excellent customer service on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
- Place purchase orders and review inventory replenishment processes.
- Obtain market intelligence to optimize purchasing quality and cost.
- Develop cost comparisons and reports to analyze cost and inventory.
- Create offers to purchase materials based on demand and stock.
- Develop methods to capture business expenditures and support audits.
- Negotiate with vendors to secure advantageous terms and ensure compliance.
- Finalize purchase details and examine existing contracts.
- Track key metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
- Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of specifications and expectations.
- Anticipate changes in negotiating ability and prepare control strategies.
- Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements.
- Control spending and promote long-term savings on procurement costs.
- Manage inventory and forecast demand for assigned product categories.
- Use historical data and market trends to improve demand forecasting.
- Communicate with vendors to ensure on-time shipments and plan production volume.
- Analyze and improve forecasting methods to mitigate errors.
- Assist with transportation planning to ensure timely deliveries.
Qualifications
- Needs to live in El Salvador
- Purchase Orders and Procurement skills
- Contract Negotiation abilities
- Customer Service expertise
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Experience in the spice trade industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
