24-MAGWe are sharing a specialised consulting opportunity for experienced Semiconductor Devices & Microelectronics Experts with strong expertise in semiconductor device physics, microfabrication, process integration, device modelling, reliability, materials, and microelectronics engineering to contribute to an advanced AI training and semiconductor-technology evaluation project.
Selected professionals will analyse semiconductor-device concepts, evaluate fabrication and integration processes, assess device scaling and reliability, review materials used in microelectronics, and provide technically rigorous written feedback for advanced AI training. The work requires strong subject-matter expertise, analytical judgement, and the ability to explain complex semiconductor concepts clearly. No prior experience in AI is required.

Semiconductor Device Physics

Microfabrication & Process Integration
- Evaluate modern microfabrication techniques

- Assess approaches to improving manufacturability and process robustness
Device Scaling & Performance
- Analyse semiconductor-device scaling challenges

- Review device models and performance predictions

Yield & Manufacturing Optimisation

Ideal Profile
- Advanced degree such as a Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related discipline
- Extensive experience in semiconductor devices or microelectronics engineering
- Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics
- Experience with semiconductor device design
- Hands-on exposure to fabrication processes and microfabrication
- Strong understanding of process integration
- Experience with device modelling
- Familiarity with semiconductor reliability testing and methodology
- Knowledge of device scaling and performance optimisation
- Experience evaluating materials used in semiconductor fabrication
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to break down complex semiconductor concepts clearly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience contributing to technical publications, patents, or collaborative R&D projects is advantageous
- No prior AI-training or model-evaluation experience is required
