Remote Senior Accountant (CPA)

Job Description About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant (CPA) to join our remote team. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with Big 4 experience and a background in fund accounting or financial accounting , preferably supporting US-based clients . As a Senior Accountant, you will own the month-end close process, maintain accurate financial records, prepare financial reports, identify process improvements, and deliver exceptional client service. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient accounting operations. Key Responsibilities Own the accurate and timely month-end close process for assigned US clients. Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports. Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with US accounting standards. Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities. Support client accounting needs and escalate technical accounting issues when appropriate. Maintain organized close trackers, reconciliations, and process documentation. Ensure compliance with US GAAP, internal accounting policies, and best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support client deliverables and deadlines. Deliver exceptional client service while managing multiple priorities. Key Outcomes Execute an accurate and timely month-end close for assigned clients. Maintain complete and accurate financial records. Deliver high-quality financial reports and reconciliations. Identify and implement accounting process improvements and automation opportunities. Build strong client relationships through responsive and professional service. Maintain organized documentation and close management processes. Qualifications Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Big 4 public accounting experience is required. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience in fund accounting or financial accounting . US accounting experience is highly preferred. Proven experience managing the month-end close process. Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting. Experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements. Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
