Remote Senior Android Software Engineer

Role: Senior Software Engineer (Kotlin) for Android development, focusing on expanding and architecting secure, scalable Android systems.

Responsibilities:

• Develop secure solutions for Android platforms using Kotlin and Java
• Write clean, modern code adhering to best practices
• Maintain comprehensive internal documentation
• Optimize app performance regarding speed and memory
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software on time
• Review code and provide constructive feedback
• Troubleshoot, debug, research competitor products, and learn new technologies

Qualifications & Skills:

• 5+ years of Android application development experience
• Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, and Android Studio
• Experience with RESTful APIs, unit testing, UI and integration testing
• Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and software design principles
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Eligibility as a “US Person” due to GovCloud involvement
