Remote Senior Software Engineer – Windows/Desktop Applications

Role Overview:
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of native Windows desktop applications using Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, XAML, and C++. Ensure high-quality, accessible, and responsive software by defining best practices, optimizing performance, and resolving complex issues.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape UI/UX, oversee full feature lifecycle, and enforce code quality standards. Drive accessibility efforts, support inclusive design, and ensure compatibility across Windows versions.

Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum 3+ years in Windows desktop development with strong expertise in Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, XAML, and native Windows code. Deep understanding of Windows architecture, accessibility APIs, and software engineering fundamentals. Proven leadership in technical design, code reviews, and mentoring.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with testing frameworks, performance optimization, localization, telemetry, CI/CD, and long-term feature ownership.
