🚀 Senior / Principal Flight Software Engineer – Space Systems

*REMOTE*

Role: Hands-on development and testing of embedded flight software for spacecraft, covering the full mission lifecycle from concept to on-orbit operations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and test embedded C/C++ software for satellite platforms
• Contribute to requirements, architecture, integration, verification, and operations
• Support GNC software integration and system performance analysis
• Build tools for software performance evaluation
• Collaborate with hardware, systems, and test teams

Testing & Integration:

• Execute unit, module, and system testing in various environments
• Develop test frameworks and support debugging and validation

Additional Exposure:

• Modeling, simulation, and mission concept support
• Evaluate hardware and mission profile impacts

Qualifications:

• 9–15+ years in software engineering, with strong embedded experience
• Experience with flight software, avionics, or aerospace systems
• Proficiency in hardware/software integration and testing
• Knowledge of GNC algorithms, RTOS, device drivers, HIL environments, and software V&V
• Bachelor’s in STEM; Master’s preferred with 7+ years of experience

Additional: Up to ~20% domestic travel, occasional international collaboration.
