About the Role:
Maverick Trading is looking for disciplined, self-directed traders to trade firm capital in US stocks and equity options. You’ll manage a firm-funded account within set risk limits, under a performance-based independent contractor agreement. This is a trading role. It is not sales, analyst work, or a client-facing position.
It’s fully remote with no on-site requirement, and you trade on your own schedule during US market hours.
What You’ll Do:
- Trade firm-funded equity and options accounts following an approved written trading plan
- Stay within the firm’s risk rules, including position sizing, defined-risk structures, and maximum drawdown limits
- Build, test, and refine your trading plan with an assigned coach
- Evaluate setups using technical and fundamental factors, including earnings cycles, implied volatility, and overall market conditions
- Keep a detailed trade journal and submit performance reports for review
- Join scheduled coaching sessions, trade reviews, and team calls
- Complete the firm’s training and evaluation program before trading full capital
What We’re Looking For:
- Working knowledge of technical analysis: chart structure, support and resistance, and common indicators
- Familiarity with options basics: calls, puts, spreads, and how implied volatility affects pricing
- The ability to follow a defined process consistently, even in volatile markets
- Comfort with fully remote work, regular written reporting, and direct coaching feedback
- Reliable high-speed internet and a dedicated workspace during US market hours
- Prior stock or options trading experience is preferred, and structured training is provided
- Familiarity with TradingView or Interactive Brokers TWS is a plus
Pay:
You’ll be paid a performance-tiered share of the net trading profits you generate on firm capital. There’s no base pay. Full contract terms and risk parameters are reviewed during the interview process.

We provide trading capital, platform access, structured education, and one-on-one coaching to traders who meet our standards. We select traders for discipline and consistency, not résumés or credentials.

- Maverick Currencies – foreign exchange, metals and cryptocurrency
Traders work remotely under a performance-based independent contractor agreement, managing a firm-funded account inside a defined risk framework. Every trader is paired with a coach, builds and documents a written trading plan, and completes our qualification program of simulators, strategy coursework and evaluation before trading at full allocation.
We are not looking for credentials. We look for people who can follow a repeatable process under volatile conditions, take direct coaching feedback, and keep doing the work when a position moves against them. Prior trading experience helps. A teachable temperament matters more.
Our programs are open to traders who can contract as independent contractors in the United States, Canada or the United Kingdom.
