System Architect — Azure (Contract / project basis, immediate start)

Engagement: Project basis, starting Friday 5pm. Intensive weekend deployment, with a short handover after.

What we're doing: Deploying our AI agent platform — into a client's own private Azure subscription. It currently runs on a single Linux VM on AWS. You'll design and stand up the Azure target and get it running.

The stack: Node.js 22 / NestJS API, Next.js frontend, PostgreSQL 18 with pgvector, Redis (job queues), Prisma migrations, Docker, GitHub Actions.

You must have:

Production Azure architecture experience, specifically Container Apps,

Docker, and comfort with a Node.js monorepo

Worked inside a client's own subscription before, under their governance

Available from Friday 5pm through the weekend

Nice to have: Azure OpenAI, pgvector, Redis/BullMQ, Azure Front Door, cost optimisation, security review.

Deliverables: Working deployment in the client's subscription · IaC in our repo · CI/CD pipeline · Architecture diagram and runbook · Handover session.
