We are sharing a specialised consulting opportunity for experienced Travel Agents and travel consultants with strong expertise in customer service, travel planning, booking workflows, scheduling, negotiation, sales, and client communication to contribute to an advanced AI training and travel-content evaluation project.

Selected professionals will evaluate travel-planning scenarios, review itineraries and booking processes, assess customer-service and sales interactions, and provide practical feedback grounded in real-world travel-industry experience. The work requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to assess complex travel situations from both operational and customer-experience perspectives. No prior experience in AI is required.

Key Responsibilities

Travel Planning & Booking Evaluation

  • Review travel-planning scenarios and booking workflows
  • Assess itineraries for practicality, clarity, and completeness
  • Evaluate scheduling decisions across flights, accommodation, transfers, and activities
  • Identify unrealistic or inefficient travel arrangements
  • Apply practical travel-industry judgement to varied customer scenarios

Customer Service Assessment

  • Evaluate customer-service responses for clarity and professionalism
  • Review communication approaches across different traveller needs
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer experience
  • Assess responses to disruptions, changes, and complex requests
  • Recommend customer-centric approaches to resolving travel issues

Scenario Development

  • Develop realistic travel-booking scenarios
  • Create examples involving different customer profiles and destinations
  • Incorporate scheduling, service, sales, and negotiation considerations
  • Design situations reflecting common travel-industry challenges
  • Support development of high-quality travel evaluation materials

Negotiation & Booking Strategy

  • Develop effective negotiation approaches for travel-related scenarios
  • Assess supplier, pricing, and service considerations where relevant
  • Review booking strategies for practicality and customer value
  • Evaluate options and trade-offs across travel arrangements
  • Apply professional judgement to complex booking decisions

Sales & Upselling Evaluation

  • Review travel-related sales approaches
  • Evaluate upselling and cross-selling strategies
  • Identify opportunities to improve relevance and customer value
  • Assess whether sales recommendations align with traveller needs
  • Provide practical guidance on effective consultative selling

Travel Content & AI Output Review

  • Review AI-generated travel content for accuracy and industry relevance
  • Assess itineraries, booking recommendations, and customer responses
  • Identify factual, operational, or communication weaknesses
  • Provide structured feedback to improve model performance
  • Ensure outputs reflect realistic travel-industry standards

Reading Comprehension & Quality Review

  • Analyse complex travel scenarios, procedures, and itineraries
  • Identify inconsistencies, missing details, or misunderstood requirements
  • Review written materials for clarity and accuracy
  • Apply strong attention to detail across evaluation tasks
  • Support consistent quality across project deliverables

Collaboration & Expert Feedback

  • Participate in written and verbal project discussions
  • Clarify travel-industry practices and customer-service expectations
  • Share expert perspectives with project stakeholders
  • Provide actionable feedback on evolving project requirements
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of travel-related evaluation workflows

Ideal Profile

  • 5+ years of experience as a Travel Agent or in a closely related travel-consulting role
  • Strong expertise in travel planning and booking processes
  • Proven customer-service experience
  • Strong scheduling and organisational skills
  • Experience with travel-related negotiation and sales
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong reading comprehension
  • Ability to evaluate complex itineraries and travel procedures
  • Experience handling diverse customer requests
  • Strong conflict-resolution and customer-service judgement
  • Familiarity with current travel-industry technologies and global destinations
  • Detail-oriented and analytical approach
  • Ability to provide clear and constructive professional feedback
  • No prior AI-training or model-evaluation experience is required

Engagement Details

  • Independent contractor engagement
  • Fully remote
  • Compensation: $20–$35/hour
  • Work will involve travel-planning evaluation, itinerary review, booking workflows, customer service, negotiation, sales analysis, and AI-output assessment
  • Strong practical travel-industry experience and customer-service judgement are central to this engagement
  • Assignments may involve booking scenarios, itineraries, destination planning, traveller requests, customer-service interactions, and travel-related sales content
  • Collaboration will occur remotely with project leads and other subject-matter experts
  • Project scope, workload, travel scenarios, and evaluation standards may evolve depending on project requirements
  • Work must be completed without using confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, travel agency, supplier, traveller, institution, or other third party
