Reporting & Performance Analyst

The Role This is an exciting opportunity for an analytical and detail-oriented professional looking to develop their career within reporting, business performance and data analytics. Working closely with stakeholders across multiple business functions, you will play a key role in delivering management information and performance insights that support decision-making at both operational and leadership levels. You'll gain exposure to senior stakeholder reporting, KPI development, business performance analysis and reporting improvement initiatives, while also supporting the continued development of Power BI reporting and automated reporting solutions. This role would suit someone who enjoys working with data, solving problems, improving processes and turning information into meaningful business insights. Key Responsibilities You'll be responsible for supporting reporting and performance management activities, including: Coordinating recurring management and performance reporting cycles. Reviewing and validating reporting data to ensure accuracy, consistency and completeness. Analysing trends, identifying anomalies and investigating data quality issues. Working with stakeholders across the business to gather, challenge and consolidate reporting inputs. Supporting the development and maintenance of KPI definitions, reporting standards and documentation. Preparing clear and insightful reports for a range of stakeholders, including senior management. Contributing to process improvement, reporting automation and reporting standardisation initiatives. Supporting the development of Power BI dashboards and other business reporting tools. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise 1-4 years' experience in reporting, FP&A, financial analysis, controlling, business analytics or a similar analytical role. Experience working with management information, KPI reporting or business performance reporting. Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large volumes of data. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. Ability to assess data critically and identify inconsistencies or unusual trends. Effective communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders across different functions. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities. A proactive mindset with a desire to improve and streamline reporting processes. Experience with Power BI, reporting automation or data visualisation tools would be advantageous. A degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Analytics or a related discipline is desirable.
