Research Asistant

Role Description The Research Assistant role at SIPAQ is a part-time, remote position focused on supporting technology-related research projects and initiatives. On a day-to-day basis, the Research Assistant will collect and analyze data, review relevant literature, and prepare summaries and reports to inform SIPAQ’s programs and activities. The role includes organizing research findings, contributing to project documentation, and assisting in the preparation of presentations and knowledge-sharing materials. The Research Assistant will collaborate with project leads and other team members, communicate progress, and ensure that research outputs are accurate, well-structured, and aligned with SIPAQ’s objectives.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Research and Analytical Skills to support data collection, literature review, and interpretation of findings.
• Candidates should possess solid Data Analysis skills, including the ability to work with datasets and use basic analysis tools or software.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with team members and present research results clearly in written and verbal forms.
• Candidates should possess relevant Laboratory Skills if involved in any technical or experimental research components.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include attention to detail, good time-management skills for remote and part-time work, familiarity with ICT or telecom topics, and current enrollment in or completion of a relevant degree (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Engineering, or related fields).
