The Opportunity
Join the Department of Neuroscience within the School of Translational Medicine and contribute to collaborative qualitative, implementation and translational health research with hospital partners across Australia. The position will undertake independent and collaborative research, contributing to high-quality publications, conference presentations, research proposals and the dissemination and translation of research findings. Working across multiple sites and disciplines, the role will foster strong partnerships with hospitals, health services, clinicians and other stakeholders, while contributing to research projects, mentoring and supervision, and the development of junior researchers and postgraduate students.
The position is suited to researchers at either Level A or Level B, with appointment determined by qualifications, research experience and track record. A relevant honours or doctoral qualification, or progress towards a doctorate, will be considered alongside demonstrated expertise in qualitative and/or mixed-methods research. Knowledge of implementation science, program evaluation and knowledge translation, together with strong analytical, research, communication, organisational and manuscript preparation skills, will be important. For appointment at Level B, a demonstrated capacity for independent research and a strong research track record will also be expected.
If you are looking to apply your research expertise to translational health research and health system improvement, we encourage you to apply for this opportunity.
Please state your preference for Level A or Level B in your cover letter as the successful applicant will be appointed commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience.
