Who We Are
We are the largest global socially-led creative agency, with unrivalled social media and influencer marketing expertise. With over 1,200 people in four continents, we deliver a global perspective to our clients in a time when social media is shaping culture.
We're proud to be a multi award-winning agency, with Cannes Lions, One Show, Webby and Shorty Awards, to name but a few. Our most recent work has seen us help Amazon Music, Lucozade and Adidas deliver some of their biggest and most innovative campaigns to date.
As well as creating for clients, we help educate the wider industry. Our Instagram publication The Feed tracks culture at the speed of social. 6,500 people registered or tuned into our events last year, and our reports garnered more than 20 million views.
The Opportunity
Are you fascinated by how modern audiences behave online?
Can you spot the emerging cultural shift behind a spike in sentiment, or connect subtle behavioural signals to tangible creative performance?
Are you an expert across tools such as Sprinklr, Brandwatch, GWI and Emplify, using them to extensively generate insight?
We are looking for a sharp, commercially minded Research and Insights Analyst to join We Are Social and drive social intelligence for a global mass media and entertainment powerhouse. Working as part of a collaborative international network of analysts, you will sit right at the intersection of consumer behaviour, digital culture, and campaign strategy.
In this role, you will not simply pull numbers from dashboards; you will turn complex datasets into clear, compelling narratives that directly influence world-class creative work. Using mixed methodologies spanning social listening, audience segmentation, search trend correlation, and content analysis, you will deliver robust, actionable points of view that help our teams and clients understand the true "so what?" behind the metrics.
What You’ll Have Delivered Elsewhere
- Produced and managed regular and ad-hoc reports from scratch, including data collection, manipulation, analysis, bespoke visualisations, and actionable insight recommendations. You take ownership of delivering small-to-medium projects.
- Linked client and social findings to historical patterns, as well as broader social, behavioural, and cultural insights, delivering a clear POV to ensure adoption and implementation.
- Ensured there’s a narrative and story to all work, selecting the most effective visualisations so clients and internal teams can easily digest the meaning behind complex data points.
- Proactively suggested new methodologies and tools to transform research into world-class social campaigns.
- Regularly presented research and insight projects internally and externally, keeping cross-functional teams closely aligned on progress, platform changes, and emerging trends. Supported Directors by managing multiple projects, while actively guiding more junior team members by reviewing their output, rectifying mistakes and flagging risks early.
What Else Are We Looking For?
- Strong and solid usage of content analytics tools (i.e., Sprinklr, Emplify) and social listening platforms (i.e., TalkWalker). Curious about adopting new listening, analytics, and audience segmentation tools beyond standard day-to-day usage.
- Proven experience in consumer research and analytics, with an ability to identify missing data, propose workable solutions, and connect insights to broader agency and brand impact.
- Strong self-starter attitude with excellent time management skills, comfortable juggling multiple projects while taking genuine pride and accountability in final deliverables.
