Research & Knowledge Services Researcher Employment Type: Part-Time, Remote, Temporary Location: Remote, East Coast Hours JOB SUMMARY Accufile is seeking an experienced, part-time, remote Research & Knowledge Services Researcher to support our client’s Marketing & Business Development team. This remote role requires 15–20 hours per week, with work performed between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, and frequent communication with the marketing team. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Support business generation tracking, including updating court dockets, identifying case details and entering and maintaining records into a CRM system. Conduct research on attorneys, competitors, litigation case lists and documents, and other topical or legal matters as needed, using internal and external resources. Search for and review legal filings (e.g., reports, testimony, and related court filings) using legal research databases. Assist with data entry and the maintenance of team databases. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: MLS or MLIS degree, or a minimum of three years of related legal research experience, required. Prior experience using legal research databases such as CourtLink, Lexis, Lex Machina, and Westlaw required. Familiarity with AI-powered research tools and analytics platforms, with the ability to integrate emerging technologies into research workflows. Ability to work efficiently under deadlines while maintaining exceptional accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to organize, plan, prioritize work, and meet deadlines. Highly organized, with strong time-management skills and the ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously. A 6-month minimum commitment is required.
