Research Project Associate

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Research Project Associate to support the coordination and delivery of business research and content projects.

This is a cross-functional role combining research project coordination, operations, and stakeholder management. You will serve as the operational link between the department head, project managers, researchers, designers, translators, proofreaders, and clients—helping projects move efficiently from initiation to final delivery.

Your role will be to keep projects organized, stakeholders aligned, and deliverables on track.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support business research and content projects across multiple teams.
• Track project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.
• Attend project meetings and document discussions, decisions, and action items.
• Follow up with researchers, designers, translators, proofreaders, and other stakeholders to ensure timely execution.
• Identify potential delays and bottlenecks and escalate them when necessary.
• Support the department head by organising priorities and following up on operational commitments and key initiatives.
• Prepare meeting minutes, progress reports, and project status updates.
• Coordinate professional client communication in Arabic and English.
• Maintain organised project documentation and ensure the smooth flow of information between teams.
• Use AI tools to improve productivity, documentation, communication, and project management workflows.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Mass Communication, or a related discipline with a research background.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in project coordination, research coordination, operations, consulting, business services, or a similar environment.
• Proven experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Experience managing multiple projects and changing priorities simultaneously.
• Good understanding of economics, finance, or general business concepts.
• Ability to understand and coordinate research outputs, business reports, or publications.
• Fluent Arabic and good command of written and spoken English.
