- Provide guidance on network design evolution, capacity growth, and technology adoption aligned with customer’s roadmap.
- Assist with major network upgrades, maintenance windows, migrations, and change events.
- Produce clear, concise written reports detailing project progress, network health assessments, identified issues, and remediation activities.
- Lead technology and operations workshops to review ongoing issues and JTAC case status and explain root causes, mitigations, and long‑term solutions.
- Train End Client engineering, implementation, and operations teams on configuration, monitoring and day‑to‑day operation of HPE Juniper Networks platforms.
- Assess overall network health and stability across HPE Juniper‑based environments.
- Develop and maintain fault isolation and diagnostic procedures.

- Contribute to best‑practice policies and standards for HPE Juniper product usage within End Client.
- Peer with other Resident Engineers to share lessons learned and reduce risk during network changes.
- Develop secondary expertise across additional HPE Juniper product lines as required.
- Perform lab testing, design validation tests (DVT), certification, and integration of new hardware and major software releases prior to production deployment.
- Maintain a robust release management DB to enhance the stability and solve security vulnerabilities from 3rd party security release reports.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and use of AI tools to reduce operational toil, improve consistency and accuracy, and accelerate troubleshooting and provisioning.
- Write and support Python‑based automation tools for configuration validation, health checks.
- Assist End Client engineering and operations teams in adopting network automation tools.
- Contribute to documentation and internal tooling repositories supporting ongoing automation initiatives.
- Track and triage on PBN (Proactive Bug Notification) and SIRT (Security Incident Response Team) and document security gaps. Identify likelihood of hitting software bugs and security vulnerability. Seek a permanent remediation or a workaround till a final resolution is available.
- Held frequent meetings with the customer and SM, to discuss JTAC cases progression and solutions and provide the required actions to articulate customer’s inquiries.
