Ready to make a real difference? Join us at the Money and Pensions Service (MaPS) as our Resource Readiness Advisor. This is your chance to play a meaningful role in helping people across the UK build stronger financial futures and to do it as part of a supportive, energetic team.

Why This Role Matters

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work within the Guidance team, leading and supporting the talent acquisition process and supporting the development of capabilities within the team.

The role will work closely with our external recruitment partner and internal HR team to ensure that we maintain a healthy pipeline of candidates into our service and a smooth, efficient and welcoming onboarding experience. The individual will support our growing operations functions, identifying, attracting, and retaining top talent to meet business objectives, as well as supporting cohorts of new starters to navigate their induction training and onboarding programme.

For our existing staff, the postholder will also play a key role in supporting our teams of operational managers, in the creation and review of improvement and development plans, liaising closely with our quality and training teams in the commissioning of team wide training and support packages.

This role will join the team at a key time as we prepare for further growth. It will play an important role in the review and development of capabilities, champion MaPS values and help support our activities to ensure our homeworking and hybrid teams feel connected across our home working teams.

The Resource Readiness Advisor will report to the Workforce Planning Manager but will work closely with the Head of Service to ensure that we have both the right resources and capabilities in place to serve our customers but also strong, happy and well-connected homebased teams. To support this post holder must be willing to undertake periodic travel.

You’ll join a team that’s passionate, collaborative, and driven by the belief that financial confidence should be something everyone can access.
