We’re growing fast across the UAE, and we’re looking for a hands-on IT professional to keep our offices, warehouses and stores running smoothly and to get our new stores open on time. Reporting to the Head of IT, GCC, you’ll split your time between desk-based support at Head Office and on-site work across the Emirates.
What you’ll do
Support our people
- Provide first and second-line support to office, warehouse and store teams, covering hardware, software, printers, email and connectivity
- Support Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Handle onboarding and offboarding, including device setup and account provisioning
- Log, prioritise and resolve incidents within agreed SLAs
Open new stores
- Own IT readiness for each new store against the opening checklist and agreed dates
- Check data and power points against layout mark-ups, test structured cabling and close out contractor snags
- Configure and test POS equipment, scanners, printers, tablets, handhelds, digital signage and media players
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors, check deliveries against purchase orders and sign off installations only when they meet spec
- Support store refurbishments and relocations
Keep stores and sites healthy
- Travel across the UAE for on-site support, preventative maintenance and store health checks
- Check store system setup, including POS and Click & Collect
Network, CCTV and access control
- Configure, install and troubleshoot switches, routers and wireless access points
- Diagnose LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi and internet issues
- Oversee vendor CCTV and access control installations, then handle day-to-day administration (users, badges, footage retrieval, first-line faults)
Devices, assets and security
- Deploy laptops, desktops and mobile devices using Microsoft Intune and Entra ID
- Maintain accurate asset records, warranties and stock
- Keep devices compliant, and support patching, antivirus and user access reviews
What you’ll bring
Essential
- 3 to 5 years in IT support or infrastructure, ideally in a multi-site environment
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365
- Hands-on experience with switches, Wi-Fi access points and routers
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and Wi-Fi networking
- Experience with CCTV and access control systems
- Experience with Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Entra ID
- Ability to read floor plans and layout mark-ups
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
Desirable
- Retail and POS experience
- Digital signage and media player experience
- Relevant Microsoft or networking certifications
Practical requirements
- Valid UAE driving licence and your own vehicle
- 6-day working week
- Regular travel across the UAE, driven by the store opening and support schedule
- Flexibility to work outside normal hours for store openings, upgrades and critical incidents
- Ability to safely lift and move IT equipment
