Everboost is a retention marketing agency for DTC health, beauty and pet brands. We run email, SMS, direct mail and lifecycle programmes for brands including Discount Supplements, Womenli and PhycoHealth. We're measured on LTV, repurchase and revenue, not vanity metrics.
We're a fully remote team.
THE ROLE
You'd be the technical and delivery half of a retention pod: a strategist, you, a copywriter and a designer.
The strategist owns the client and creates the strategy. You build it, test it, QA it, launch it, and own the board that keeps all of it on schedule. You're the last check before anything reaches a client's list.
This seat exists so the strategist advises brands instead of building flows. If we hire one without the other, we've solved nothing.
WHAT YOU'D OWN
- Build quality and account health across your pod. Flows, campaigns, pop-ups, segments, integrations and tracking, in Klaviyo.
- Launch reliability. Things go out on time, to the right audience, rendering correctly and attributed properly.
- The delivery board. Templates, owners, dates, dependencies and status accuracy, plus chasing anyone in the pod who is late.
- Test and data integrity. Test setup, significance calls, the test log, pulse-take data and reporting extracts.
- Making your own workflows faster every quarter through templates, checklists and automations.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Run Klaviyo technical audits at onboarding and monthly, and fix tracking, segmentation and integration issues
- Build flows, campaigns and pop-ups from approved briefs, including dynamic content, UTMs and tracking.
- Run monthly account health checks across flows, triggers, scripts and forms.
- Configure and monitor A/B tests, call winners at significance, and keep the test log current.
- Run multi-device QA before every launch, then check firing and attribution 48 hours after.
- Own the pod's ClickUp board: sequencing, dependencies, reforecasting and escalation before a slip becomes a missed launch.
- Pull performance data into the account pulse-takes and assemble monthly and quarterly reporting for the strategist.
- Troubleshoot deliverability and data accuracy problems.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
This is a technical role first. If you have coordinated email projects without building them yourself, this is not the right seat.
- 2+ years building hands-on in Klaviyo: flows, campaigns, pop-ups, segments, conditional splits and dynamic content. You work from a brief, not from a spec someone else wrote for you.
- Demonstrable QA discipline. You find your own errors before anyone else does.
- Experience running work across multiple brands or clients at once.
- Comfortable holding people to deadlines when they don't report to you, including people more senior than you.
- Strong written and spoken English. You'll join client calls when the topic is technical.
- Based in Europe or South Africa, with full overlap with UK working hours (9am to 5pm).
NICE TO HAVE
- Agency experience, particularly at a DTC agency or a Klaviyo partner.
- Familiarity with the wider stack: Shopify, Loop Subscriptions, Recharge, Skio, Paper Run, etc.
- Experience owning a delivery board in ClickUp, Asana or similar.
- Automations, templates or SOPs you built yourself.
- Deliverability troubleshooting.
- Experience in health, wellness, beauty or food DTC.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
You'd work to the strategist day to day, with our Operations Manager handling capacity, escalation and anything across pods.
We have documented workflows, a growing SOP library, and a decision framework that sets out what you decide alone, what you action and then report, and what needs approval first.
Progression is by level rather than title: it comes from hitting your scorecard, working to our expected behaviours, and earning the respect of the people you work with. The route from this seat is Senior Coordinator.
WHAT WE'LL BE ASSESSING
The process includes a live build and QA exercise. You'll be given a brief and a deliberately flawed build to work with. It's the stage that decides this hire, so expect it and don't apply if you'd rather talk about builds than do one.
Alongside it:
- Whether you find your own errors, and what you changed in your process after a mistake reached a client.
- How you handle someone who owes you work and is late.
- How you use AI in your work, and where you draw the line on what it decides.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- First 30 days: building and shipping independently on 2 to 3 brands, with the pod board accurate and current.
- First 90 days: running the full pod, launches on time with no post-send defects, and the strategist no longer checking builds before they go.
- First year: delivery is something nobody thinks about, and the QA and template library is better than you found it.
HOW TO APPLY
Answer two questions with your application:
1. Describe the most complex flow you have built. What was the conditional logic and why did you structure it that way?
2. Tell us about a mistake of yours that reached a client. What happened, and what did you change afterwards?
