- Oversee day-to-day revenue cycle workflows across multiple locations and manage follow-up with our offshore billing team.
- Monitor accounts receivable, aging, denials, rejected claims, coordination of benefits, patient balances, and other unresolved billing issues.
- Track open items, owners, deadlines, and next steps, and follow through until issues are resolved.
- Coordinate billing concerns raised by clinicians, patients, and internal teams and escalate delayed or recurring problems as needed.
- Prepare recurring billing, payroll, and operational reports for leadership.
- Coordinate across billing, clinical leadership, patient access, credentialing, payroll, vendors, and other internal and external teams.
- Research operational issues and organize information needed for decision-making.
- Support special projects, new processes, system implementations, new locations, medication management, psychological testing, and other business initiatives.
- Provide proactive updates on outstanding issues, team performance, and operational concerns.
- Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and keep work moving independently.
- Proactive communicator with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
- Comfortable following up with others and holding team members accountable.
- Strong problem-solving, research, Excel, reporting, and data skills.
- Able to learn new systems and workflows quickly.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable handling confidential patient, employee, financial, and business information.
- Prior healthcare revenue cycle, medical billing, or healthcare operations experience preferred.
- Experience with offshore teams, multi-location healthcare, behavioral health, EMRs, CRMs, or payroll systems is a plus.
