Get to Know Us

Kafene is revolutionizing the lease-to-own space. We’re the point-of-sale powerhouse making flexible lease-to-own accessible to everyone—prime and non-prime customers alike. Our secret weapon? Cutting-edge AI and machine learning that analyzes 20,000+ data inputs in real-time, empowering retailers across furniture, appliances, electronics, tires, and durable goods to say “yes” to more customers.

The numbers tell our story: over $500 million in originations and counting. But we’re just getting started.

Our 175-person team spans NYC headquarters, Wilmington, and remote talent across the globe—all united by a culture that thrives on collaboration, innovation, and genuine support. We don’t just talk about great workplace culture; we deliver it. That’s why Built In named us a Startup to Watch and Forbes recognized us as one of the Best Startup Employers.

Ready to be part of the fintech revolution? Join us.

Every merchant on Kafene’s platform can grow, stall, or slip away. The right treatment, promotion, or incentive at the right moment changes which way it goes. Your job is to make those programs happen, on time and with proof they worked.

As Manager, Revenue Operations, you’ll own the programs Kafene uses to grow, retain, and improve the performance of its merchant base: merchant treatments, experiments, promotions, and sales incentives. You’ll run each one end to end, from intake and setup through launch, tracking, and results. This is an execution-first role with real ownership; you’ll turn decisions from Revenue, Risk, and leadership into programs that go live on time, run cleanly in our systems, and produce outcomes we can measure.

You’ll work alongside a second Revenue Operations Manager and our Revenue Operations specialists, partnering daily with Business Development, Account Management, Marketing, Merchant Risk, Product, and Analytics. This is a hands-on role without direct reports.

What You’ll Do

  • Keep merchant treatments moving. Own day-to-day operation of the Retention Machine, Kafene’s merchant treatment program, and execute the RevOps-owned treatments flagged in Merchant Health Reviews, taking each from intake to completion in HubSpot and Jira with clear ownership and on-time turnaround.

  • Run experiments that settle questions. Partner with Analytics and Product to define success metrics, sample sizes, and measurement windows for merchant experiments, then turn readouts into clear recommendations for sales and leadership.

  • Launch promotions cleanly. Plan and execute merchant promotions from eligibility and terms through system configuration, launch, and measurement, and keep a single source of truth for every active, upcoming, and past promotion.

  • Make incentives airtight. Administer merchant incentive programs, including spiffs and rebates, owning eligibility tracking, payout calculations, approvals, and audit-ready documentation in partnership with Finance and sales leadership.

  • Build for scale. Create repeatable processes, SOPs, and dashboards that show program status, turnaround, and impact, and partner with Product and Risk to automate manual workflows so programs grow without added headcount.

  • Be the RevOps partner sales counts on. Serve as the go-to contact for Account Management and sales leadership, communicating proactively on launches, changes, and results.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years in revenue operations, sales operations, or a closely related operations role.

  • Hands-on experience executing promotions, pricing changes, or A/B experiments in a B2B or fintech environment, ideally alongside an analytics team.

  • Advanced HubSpot skills across tickets, pipelines, workflows, properties, and reporting, plus working proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel.

  • Sound judgment on edge cases that fall outside standard process, and the confidence to make the call or escalate it.

  • A clear, proactive communication style with sales leaders and cross-functional partners, and the organization to run many programs in parallel without dropping details.

  • Strong plus: experience in lease-to-own, point-of-sale, or payments; familiarity with merchant risk concepts like approval rates and merchant scoring; or experience with Jira, Confluence, and Sigma or another BI tool.

  • Likely backgrounds: RevOps or sales ops at a B2B fintech, payments, or POS company; merchant or partner operations at a marketplace or embedded finance platform; promotions or incentive operations inside a high-volume B2B sales org.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base Salary: $130,000–$150,000

  • Healthcare: We prioritize your well-being by covering 80% of medical, dental, and vision insurance costs, including coverage for your spouse, children, and other dependents.

  • Retirement Benefits: Begin planning for your future from day one with our 401k plan.

  • Paid Time Off: We understand the importance of work-life balance. That’s why we offer flexible paid time off days starting from day one of your employment.

We’re building a team as diverse as the customers we serve. Kafene is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer, and we mean it. We welcome qualified applicants of every race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability status, veteran status, and all other legally protected characteristics.
