Job Description
KUNZ is an engineering consulting firm with teams in San Francisco and Golden. We are seeking a REVIT Designer to provide additional modeling capacity for an anticipated six-month assignment, approximately 20 hours per week to support residential and industrial projects. The work focuses on creating and updating REVIT models based on defined objectives, reference materials, and project requirements.

This assignment is focused on model production rather than project management.

Primary Responsibilities

• Create and update multi-disciplinary REVIT models of architectural projects including landscape conditions to support design studies
• Develop and assign materials to support real-time rendering in ENSCAPE
• Develop drawings and quantity schedules
• Organize model elements, views, and linked files to support large datasets
• Verify models for accuracy, consistency, and completeness before delivery
• Communicate progress, clarify requirements, and flag issues affecting deliverables or deadlines.

Minimum Requirements

• Demonstrated proficiency creating and modifying models in Autodesk REVIT including architectural, structural, and MEP systems
• Ability to manage catalog of custom and standard materials in REVIT libraries
• Ability to interpret drawings, markups, and technical reference materials
• Ability to identify modeling issues and ask questions when requirements are unclear
• Attention to detail and ability to meet agreed deadlines
• Ability to work remotely from California or Colorado

Desired Qualifications

• Experience producing REVIT models for architecture, structure and MEP systems
• Relevant coursework, technical training, or a portfolio demonstrating REVIT modeling skills

Position Details

• Approximately 20 hours per week
• Anticipated duration of six months with option to extend
• Remote work with flexible scheduling and agreed deadlines
• Availability for occasional scheduled project check-ins
• Employment or independent contractor arrangement will be confirmed before an offer or agreement is issued, based on the scope and applicable classification requirements

Compensation
$30-$50 per hour, depending on demonstrated REVIT skills and relevant experience
