Job Description Work Set-up/Location: Temporary WFH; with onsite reporting as needed at the nearest Shearwater site in any of the following locations: Cebu, Manila, Pampanga, or Davao Required License/Credentials: PHRN, CPC certification with Risk Adjustment Coding background Account Type: Non-Voice Job Overview Level Up Talent Solutions is looking for a Lean-Pro Risk Adjustment Medical Coder Team Leader to oversee and support coding operations for a non-voice healthcare account. This role is responsible for guiding Risk Adjustment Coding work, supporting coding accuracy, monitoring quality and productivity, and helping coders apply documentation and coding standards consistently. The ideal candidate is a PHRN with CPC certification, Risk Adjustment Coding experience, and preferably SME, team lead, or people management exposure in a healthcare coding environment. Responsibilities Lead or support a team handling Risk Adjustment Coding tasks Review medical records and documentation for accurate risk adjustment coding Ensure coding outputs meet quality, compliance, and client-specific requirements Support coding audits, error analysis, and quality improvement activities Provide guidance to coders on coding standards, documentation gaps, and process questions Track team productivity, accuracy, and performance trends Coordinate with quality, operations, and leadership teams on coding performance Maintain accurate coding records, reports, and process documentation Requirements PHRN license CPC certification with Risk Adjustment Coding background At least 2 to 3 years of Risk Adjustment Coding experience Strong knowledge of diagnosis coding, documentation review, and healthcare coding standards Preferably with SME, team lead, or people management experience Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, and documentation skills Able to work in a non-voice healthcare coding environment Nice to Have CRC or additional Risk Adjustment-related certification Experience leading coding calibration, audits, or quality reviews Background in U.S. healthcare, payer, or clinical process outsourcing accounts
