Role Overview:

  • Be our data detective for risk! Support the Risk Lead by analyzing data, monitoring trends, and helping to manage our credit and fraud risk exposure.

  • Analyze credit application data to support underwriting decisions and policy refinement.

  • Monitor portfolio performance, identify emerging risk trends (delinquency, fraud patterns), and generate regular risk reports.

  • Assist in configuring, testing, and validating rules within the risk decision engine and fraud monitoring systems.

  • Investigate suspicious transactions or application alerts flagged by fraud systems.

  • Perform ad-hoc data analysis to answer specific risk-related questions from leadership or other teams. Utilize AI tools for automating report generation, anomaly detection in data, or initial pattern analysis.

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering).

  • 1-3 years of experience in a risk analyst, data analyst, or credit analyst role, preferably in banking or fintech.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using Excel and SQL is essential.

  • Ability to interpret data and present findings clearly.

  • Eagerness to learn about credit risk, fraud prevention, and the fintech industry. Willingness to learn and apply AI tools for risk analysis tasks.

Good-to-Have Skills & Experience:

  • Experience with Python or R for data analysis.

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).

  • Understanding of basic credit scoring concepts or fraud patterns.

  • Experience working with large datasets.

  • Experience in the Vietnamese financial services market.
