Central Controls Office (CCO) is the function responsible for risk and control activity across the whole of Santander, including Competence, Quality and Outcome Testing Controls

Santander is looking for a Risk Assurance Consultant based out of Unity Place, Milton Keynes or Bradford or Glasgow. 12 Month - FTC
As a Risk Assurance Consultant you will be accountable for supporting the Central Controls Office in the Management of the Santander Policy relating to Dormant Customers and related policies, processes and controls
You’ll be part of a close-knit team helping our Customers get the Best Outcomes in relation to managing their dormant accounts, and ensuring we remain complaint and controlled in terms of managing the entire dormancy journey.
Specifically:
- Develop an excellent working knowledge of the Dormancy Policy and related processes.
- Execute controls in order to test to ongoing efficacy of dormancy related process, identifying gaps or issues which may cause customer harm.
- Identify opportunities to change and improve dormancy related processes and controls
- Take responsibility for the reporting of risks, issues and control outputs to senior stakeholders

Professional Experience
- Sound understanding of Retail & Business Banking, and inherent risk types within the Division (Required)
- Experience working in an operations or operational risk role at Santander or elsewhere (Preferred)
- Experience managing and reconciling customer data (Preferred)
Skills
- Effective planning & prioritisation skills, highly organised with outstanding attention to detail (Required)
- Great foundation in risk and control concepts (Required)
- Ability to build collaborative relationships across the business (Required)
- Exceptional interpersonal skills - persuades and influences others, using a range of approaches, to achieve deliverables (Required)

Salary Range:
£37,762.00 - £56,642.00 per annum (depending on experience)
This salary range represents the expected remuneration for the role. Annual salary is based on a standard 35-hour working week. Actual salary offered will depend on skills, experience, qualifications and location.
