Risk Consultants - Financial and Non-Financial Risk Management

Advisense Denmark is looking for Risk Consultants to join our Risk Management team working with both Financial and Non-Financial Risk Management in Copenhagen or Aarhus. About the Job

As a Risk Consultant, you will support clients in Denmark and across the Nordics on a variety of financial risk management projects.

We are looking for colleagues with different combinations of quantitative and qualitative skills. You may enjoy working with data, models and analytical challenges, or your strengths may lie in project management, processes, regulatory implementation and stakeholder management – or somewhere in between.

Depending on your profile, you may work with credit risk modelling and validation, portfolio and data analysis, risk management processes, regulatory implementation or project management.

You will work alongside experienced colleagues and leading financial institutions while developing your expertise within financial risk management.

The positions are targeted at Associates and Senior Associates with 0–2 years of relevant professional experience and are based in Copenhagen or Aarhus.

Your Responsibilities

Depending on your profile, you may:

• Develop and validate credit risk and market risk models, including PD, LGD, CCF, IRRBB and decision models

• Analyse data using tools such as SQL, SAS, Python or R

• Support and manage projects and workstreams

• Improve risk management processes, governance structures and operating models

• Support regulatory implementation and remediation activities

• Translate complex requirements into practical solutions and recommendations

• Collaborate across business, risk, finance, data and technology teams

• Use AI tools responsibly to support analysis and client delivery
  

Who You Are

You are curious, structured and enjoy solving complex problems. You communicate confidently, take ownership of your work and enjoy collaborating with colleagues and clients.

You have:

• A Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Administration, Engineering or a similar field

• 0–2 years of relevant professional experience from, for example, financial services, consultancy or audit

• Fluency in Danish and English, written and spoken

Experience in one or more of the following is an advantage: Python, SAS, R, SQL, credit risk modelling, IRB, IFRS 9, project management, regulatory implementation or financial risk management.
