Risk Operations Support

We are looking for an experienced professional in regulatory engagement, compliance, risk management or audit to join a leading global organisation on a 12-month contract.

Position Details

• Location: Sydney, NSW (Hybrid – 2–3 days in office)
• Duration: 12-month contract
• Experience: 8–15 years
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Start Date: Immediate

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with rideshare regulators and represent the organisation at industry and regulatory forums.
• Coordinate responses to regulatory requests, audits and investigations.
• Prepare accurate and timely regulatory submissions in collaboration with internal subject matter experts.
• Manage regulatory projects, stakeholder responsibilities, timelines and deliverables.
• Maintain regulatory records, correspondence and supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with Legal, Safety, Operations, Policy and other internal teams.
• Monitor regulatory developments and support improvements to compliance processes, controls and reporting.

Required Skills and Experience

• 8–15 years of experience in regulatory engagement, audit, risk or compliance.
• Experience in transport or other regulated industries, preferably telecommunications or airlines.
• Strong project management and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience preparing regulatory submissions and managing sensitive information.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Bachelor's degree.

Desirable Experience

• Experience coordinating regulatory audits, investigations, submissions or approval processes.
• Legal or paralegal background.
