The Programme Our Academy is a 12-week free online training programme that is designed and delivered by our dedicated in-house team of data gurus and industry legends. We focus on all elements of Data from Data Analytics to Data Science and more, whilst also putting huge emphasis on communication and professional skills. The curriculum is like no other, it is packed full of everything we know the data industry and our clients need. You’ll be taken through a carefully curated training programme that covers Excel, SQL, PowerBI, Tableau, Python, Data Governance, GenAI, Presentation skills, Stakeholder Management and more. On completing the Academy you’ll commence to the next stage in your learning and development and join us on Advance! Advance is where you’ll take your data and AI skills to the next level through various projects and sprints. This additional 12 weeks of development is the real game changer, being designed to enhance and hone your newly found data and AI skills. This will take you from data novice to a data ninja – having every tool at your disposal to tackle data and AI challenges and bring real value. During the Advance period we will organise interviews with our clients across the data industry and aim for you to join us as a Rockborne employee and become a Data Consultant with one of our clients for the next two years, this would be your Assignment! Assignments are across the UK but are mainly focused in London and are with a broad and diverse client group, from financial services to aviation to pharmaceutical. When you commence an assignment you’ll become a Rockborne employee and receive a salary which increases over the two years. Not only that, you’ll also continue to receive dedicated support from the team at Rockborne with regular 121s, mentoring and tailor made training plans that align to you and your assignment. At the end of an Assignment, there will be the potential to transition to the client company, taking a permanent role and next step in your career. We may not be able to provide everyone with an assignment through our clients but by completing our Academy and Advance programmes you will now have a wealth of training and experience to take to the job market.
