Roofing & Siding Takeoff Estimator – PlanSwift

ABOUT THE ROLE

F5 Global Talent is hiring an experienced Roofing & Siding Takeoff Estimator with hands-on PlanSwift experience supporting U.S. construction projects.

You’ll perform detailed quantity takeoffs for roofing, EIFS, siding, and related exterior scopes using architectural plans and elevations. You must be comfortable identifying missing information, inconsistencies, and scope gaps rather than making assumptions.

This is a full-time, remote role open to candidates in India and the Philippines, working U.S. business hours, approximately 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST/CST.

IMPORTANT: This role requires at least 2 years of hands-on construction takeoff experience specifically involving roofing, EIFS, siding, or similar exterior scopes. Strong PlanSwift experience is required.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Perform detailed construction takeoffs for roofing, EIFS, siding, and related exterior scopes

• Complete takeoffs directly from architectural floor plans and elevations using PlanSwift

• Identify and flag missing information, discrepancies, and inconsistencies instead of making assumptions

• Produce accurate, complete, and clearly documented quantities

• Organize takeoff information so estimators and project managers can review it easily

• Coordinate takeoffs across project revisions and respond to questions

• Maintain accurate documentation throughout each project

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• 2+ years of hands-on construction takeoff experience

• Direct experience with roofing, EIFS, siding, or similar exterior construction scopes

• Strong hands-on proficiency with PlanSwift

• Ability to read and interpret architectural floor plans and elevations

• Strong quantity takeoff accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability to identify plan gaps and inconsistencies rather than making assumptions

• Clear written and verbal English communication

• Ability to work independently and deliver organized, review-ready takeoffs

• Availability to work full U.S. business hours, approximately 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST/CST

NICE TO HAVE

• Broader construction estimating experience beyond quantity takeoffs

• Experience with additional takeoff or estimating software

• Knowledge of U.S. building codes and material specifications for roofing and exterior systems

• Experience working remotely with U.S.-based contractors or construction companies

• Previous experience preparing takeoffs for multiple exterior trades
