Uniting what’s next in traffic. Help shape the future of mobility.
Every day, millions of people rely on technology that helps keep journeys safe, efficient and sustainable. At Yunex Traffic, we're helping create safer, smarter and more sustainable journeys through intelligent transport solutions used by millions of people every day. From traffic signals and tunnel management systems to digital mobility technologies, we're shaping the future of transport across the globe.
We’re looking for the next generation of Emerging Talent to bring fresh ideas, challenge thinking and help shape the future of mobility.
Our Rotational Business Graduate Programme is designed for ambitious graduates who are curious about how a business operates from end to end. Spend two years discovering how a global technology business works, through four six-month rotations that give you real responsibility, broad experience and the opportunity to shape your future career with Yunex Traffic. Upon successful completion of our two-year Graduate Development Programme, you'll transition into a permanent role within Yunex Traffic, with placement aligned to your development, performance and business needs.
Rather than specialising immediately, you'll spend six months in each of four distinctly different business areas, delivering projects that make a real impact, giving you a chance to discover what you enjoy and where your strengths lie.
Life as Emerging Talent
Joining Yunex means becoming part of a nationwide Emerging Talent community, connecting apprentices, degree apprentices, interns and graduates from across the business.
Alongside your day-to-day role, you'll have opportunities to:
- Build relationships with colleagues across the business.
- Learn from experienced professionals and senior leaders.
- Develop key professional and leadership skills.
- Collaborate on business-wide impact projects.
- Take part in volunteering and community initiatives.
- Grow your network through events and development activities.
Through these experiences, you'll build the skills, confidence and connections needed to support your long-term career development.
Green Light Programme
To support your transition from education into industry, you'll take part in our Green Light Programme, a year-long development journey designed to strengthen your professional, business and leadership skills while helping you build your network across Yunex Traffic.
What you’ll be doing:
Sale and Tendering
- Gain first-hand experience of how a major technology business competes for and secures new work.
- Get involved in live bids and tenders, helping shape compelling proposals for customers.
- Work with sales, technical, commercial and operational teams to turn customer needs into deliverable solutions.
- Build commercial awareness by understanding how opportunities are evaluated, priced, developed and won.
- Contribute ideas and creative thinking to customer engagement, marketing and communications.
- Take ownership of defined activities and projects, working with stakeholders across the business.
Manufacturing
- Experience how production and operational decisions are made in a live manufacturing environment.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and see the impact of your ideas.
- Work with supply chain, quality and operations to understand and improve performance.
- Take ownership of a project that improves efficiency or effectiveness.
Services
Including Field Services, Training, Service Operations Centre and Technical Support:
- Get hands-on experience of how we support customers and maintain critical infrastructure.
- See first-hand how service performance affects customers and the business.
- Help solve real customer and operational challenges.
- Work alongside the teams responsible for keeping our technologies operating effectively across the UK.
Business Excellence
- Apply Lean and continuous improvement techniques to real business challenges.
- Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.

Throughout the programme, you'll also:
- Analyse data and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Present recommendations and project outcomes to senior stakeholders.
- Build the skills, experience and network to take your career to the next step within Yunex Traffic.
- Develop the skills and experience needed to progress into a substantive role at the end of the programme.
Qualifications & Experience:
You don’t need to know exactly where you want your career to take you yet. We’re looking for curious graduates who bring ideas, enjoy solving problems and are willing to try new challenges. You’ll also:
