Job Summary
The RP Participant Experience Specialist would lead the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of the retirement plan participant experience. In this role, you will partner with teams across Sales, Service, Product, Marketing, and Technology to identify opportunities that improve participant engagement, education, and retirement outcomes. You will serve as the voice of the participant, using market insights, customer feedback, and performance data to prioritize enhancements, drive strategic initiatives, and deliver meaningful participant communications and educational campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and evolve participant experience strategies that support business goals and improve participant outcomes.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives that enhance participant services, communications, tools, and experiences.
- Serve as the internal advocate for participant needs and expectations.
- Measure and analyze participant and plan performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide marketing and participant education consultation for key clients and support sales and service teams as a subject matter expert.
Skills and Background You'll Need
Education: Bachelor's degree communications, marketing, or similar field.
Experience: 3+ years of experience in the retirement plan industry, customer experience, participant engagement, or a related field.
- Experience leading or supporting cross-functional initiatives and driving business improvements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, engaging messages.
- Experience using data, customer feedback, and performance metrics to inform decisions and measure success.
- Experience developing participant education, marketing campaigns, or customer communication strategies.
- Knowledge of defined contribution retirement plans and participant behavior trends.
- Experience collaborating with sales, service, product, marketing, and technology teams.
- Strong presentation, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and ambiguous challenges.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.

Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on a variety of factors including individual and organizational performance.
The actual compensation for this role will be based on a combination of education and experience, knowledge and skills, position budget, internal equity, and market data.
Salary Range:
$76,250.00 - $111,500.00Positions will be posted for at least 5 days from original posting date.
