RQ09337 - Sr. UX Designer Downtown, Toronto Hybrid: 3 Days onsite / 2 days remote Contract (9 months, possible extension) Responsibilities: Create effective, user friendly and visually appealing interfaces. Design the overall functionality of the product in order to ensure a great user experience, iterate upon it in accordance with user-testing. Design user interfaces for various projects such as digital displays, publications, media, and other creative materials as required. Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate the designs. Conceive and conduct user research, interviews and surveys, and translating them into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups and prototypes  Must Haves: Experience as a UX designer, interactive designer, UI designer, or similar role, designing for web and mobile applications Proficiency with design and prototyping tools Experience conceiving and conducting user research, interviews and surveys, and translating them into sitemaps, user flows, user journey maps, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences Experience with UX/UI to conduct service-design, UX/UI design Experience with FIgma, Canvas and similar tools Public Sector experience
