SaaS Contracts Negotiator / Legal Counsel – English & French

Who we are

Founded in 2017 by the founders of Neolane (https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neolane), imagino is a fast-growing scale-up that develops and markets a Customer Experience Platform (CXP) for the Data, Marketing and Digital teams of large companies. imagino addresses the growing need to make the most of customer data: access and enrichment, customer insight and segmentation, activation and personalization, and more. It is delivered as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution to large enterprises across all industries.

Following strong growth in France and the launch of subsidiaries in the UK and the US, we are looking to strengthen our legal team, which currently has three members based in France. This role reports to the Head of Legal.

About you

Our key requirement is your ability to negotiate contracts in English with confidence. You will also need a working knowledge of French (A2 minimum) to handle straightforward documents in French.

For everything else, we are open to pleasant surprises!

A background in common law would be a big plus, but we will also consider candidates with a French law degree, as well as those who, without extensive legal training, have gained hands-on experience in a legal environment, learn quickly and are eager to grow.

Your role

We will tailor the role to your profile. Our needs include:

• Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and managing a variety of contracts in English, mainly SaaS agreements and partnership agreements.

• Supporting the sales team, in French and English, with responses to RFPs, including questionnaires on contractual topics, personal data, CSR and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).

• Supporting and managing compliance projects (CSR, data protection, etc.) and handling customer requests.

The scope of the role can be refined with your manager based on your interests and profile.
