We’re looking for a proactive team member who can help grow event sales, coordinate social media activities, and support day-to-day business operations with initiative and ownership.
Role Description
This is a part-time, remote role combining sales, marketing, and business support. You will work closely with the business owner to contact potential customers, pitch upcoming events, manage follow-ups, and coordinate social media posting.
We’re looking for a dependable all-rounder with a leadership mindset—someone who can identify priorities, suggest improvements, solve problems, and take tasks through to completion independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Call provided leads and identify new prospects to promote events and secure bookings.
- Explain event details, answer customer questions, and follow up professionally.
- Oversee social media posting schedules, coordinate content, and monitor audience inquiries.
- Contribute marketing ideas to increase event visibility, engagement, and sales.
- Support daily business activities, including scheduling, communication, and task coordination.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, conversations, bookings, and follow-ups.
- Provide regular progress updates and work toward agreed sales and marketing targets.
- Take ownership of assigned projects and flag issues early.
Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Confidence in phone sales, pitching, handling objections, and closing deals.
- A sound understanding of social media and digital marketing.
- Good customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and follow through on commitments.
- Familiarity with spreadsheets, basic CRM tools, and social media scheduling platforms.
- A proactive approach, practical problem-solving skills, and willingness to learn.
- Previous experience in events, entertainment, sales, marketing, or business support is a plus.
How to Apply
- Send your CV via LinkedIn DM with a brief introduction and an example of a project or responsibility you managed independently.
