Role Description The Sales and Marketing Specialist (Volunteer) role is a part-time, remote position focused on expanding DOJU HEALTH’s reach and engagement across key markets in Africa. On a day-to-day basis, the specialist will identify and nurture relationships with clinics, hospitals, vendors, and individual users through outreach campaigns and follow-ups. The role involves supporting digital and offline marketing initiatives, including social media activities, content creation support, and simple campaign coordination to increase platform awareness and usage. The specialist will help gather market feedback, track basic performance metrics, and collaborate with the team to refine sales and marketing strategies. This volunteer role is ideal for individuals interested in gaining experience in healthcare, digital platforms, and growth-focused sales and marketing.


Qualifications

  • Demonstrated interest or experience in sales, customer outreach, and relationship building with healthcare providers, vendors, or end users.
  • Foundational knowledge of digital marketing concepts such as social media engagement, basic content support, and online campaign promotion.
  • Strong communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to present value propositions effectively.
  • Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage part-time remote work and meet agreed timelines.
  • Comfort working with online tools and platforms (e.g., email, spreadsheets, CRM or lead-tracking tools) and willingness to learn new systems.
  • Collaborative mindset, openness to feedback, and eagerness to contribute to a mission-driven organization improving healthcare access in Africa.
  • Prior experience or academic background in marketing, business, public health, or a related field is beneficial but not required.
