We are looking for a confident and results-driven
Sales Cold Caller
to join
Solar Battery Online Direct
in a full-time remote role.
This position is ideal for someone with a strong sales background who is comfortable making outbound calls, speaking with prospective customers, handling objections and creating genuine sales opportunities.
The role is open to
South African candidates only
and requires a professional work-from-home setup, a reliable computer and stable internet connectivity.
Compensation
AUD$5 per hour base rate plus commission, with strong earning potential for high performers.
Work Schedule
Monday to Friday
10:00 AM to approximately 6:00–7:00 PM AWST
4:00 AM to approximately 12:00–1:00 PM SAST
Candidates must be comfortable working these hours consistently.
Job Description
As a Sales Cold Caller, you will be responsible for engaging prospective customers, introducing the company’s solar and battery solutions, qualifying interest and helping move suitable leads through the sales process.
Key responsibilities include:
Making outbound cold calls to prospective customers
Introducing the company and its products and services
Identifying customer needs and qualifying potential sales opportunities
Building rapport quickly and communicating confidently over the phone
Handling objections professionally
Following up with prospective customers where required
Maintaining accurate notes and updates on customer interactions
Working towards agreed call, lead and sales targets
Supporting the wider sales team with qualified opportunities
Maintaining a professional and consistent approach across all customer
Requirements
1 to 3 years of previous sales, cold calling or outbound telephone experience
Strong sales background with the ability to engage prospective customers confidently
Professional telephone communication skills
Strong objection-handling and relationship-building ability
Comfortable working towards targets and performance expectations
Good spoken and written English
Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
Reliable computer or laptop
Reliable phone setup
Stable high-speed internet connection
Professional and quiet work-from-home environment
Based in South Africa
Available to work full-time
Comfortable working Australian business hours
Candidates may be required to complete an internet speed check and confirm their work-from-home setup during the screening process.
