As we continue to expand our business, we are looking for a well-organised and proactive Sales Coordinator to support our growing Food Sales team and ensure smooth daily sales operations and customer service.

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Sales Coordinator to join our Food Sales team at Daesang Europe B.V. You will manage low-complexity customer accounts under supervision, taking ownership of your assigned accounts and overseeing the end-to-end order process, including coordinating customer orders and deliveries. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure efficient sales operations and high levels of customer satisfaction, while proactively identifying opportunities to grow the business. You will also be expected to remain flexible and adaptable, quickly learning new tasks and taking on different responsibilities as business needs evolve.

This role offers the opportunity to develop commercial skills and gain practical experience in the European FMCG and food industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor order status, delivery schedules, stock availability, and inventory-related requirements.
  • Coordinate deliveries with warehouses, suppliers, and logistics partners.
  • Maintain accurate CRM/ERP records, customer databases, pricing information, and documentation.

Customer Service & Account Support

  • Respond to routine customer enquiries and provide first-line support.
  • Follow up on delivery issues, invoice discrepancies, and product-related concerns; escalate complex matters when needed.
  • Support Account Managers with customer communication and day-to-day account administration.
  • Manage assigned low-complexity customer accounts under supervision.

Commercial & Sales Support

  • Support customer meetings, trade fairs, product tastings, and promotional activities.
  • Prepare basic sales reports, presentations, and commercial documentation.
  • Conduct basic market and competitor research within assigned categories or territories.
  • Assist with product listings, pricing updates, and retailer portal administration.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects under the guidance of Account Managers.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with Logistics, Warehouse, Marketing, Finance, and Quality teams.
  • Communicate operational updates clearly and follow up on outstanding actions.
  • Build knowledge of Korean food products, customers, sales channels, and European FMCG market dynamics.

Decision-Making Authority

Works under close supervision and follows established company procedures. May independently execute routine administrative and operational tasks within agreed guidelines. Pricing decisions, commercial negotiations, contractual commitments, and significant customer issues require management approval.

  • Relevant education in Business Administration, Sales, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in sales administration, order management, customer service, or logistics is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of FMCG and food-industry processes, including promotions, listings, pricing, retailer requirements, and supply chain flows.

  • Clear, professional communication and effective collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Practical problem-solving skills, a service-oriented mindset, and willingness to learn.
  • Good command of English; Dutch or another European language is an advantage.
  • Interest in Korean food products and European retail markets.
  • flexible and adaptable, with the ability to learn new tasks quickly and take on different responsibilities as business needs evolve.

  • Travel reimbursement of €0.25 per kilometre.
  • 25 days of annual leave, based on full-time employment.
