Sales Customer Success Analyst

πŸ“ Remote | Global Team | Sales Department

At Source86, we're building the backbone of the global food supply chain - helping our partners source, move, and deliver the world's best ingredients with clarity, speed, and service that actually feels human. We sweat the small stuff, act like true partners, and solve the "86 moments" in our customers' supply chains with transparency and precision.

We are seeking a commercially minded and detail-oriented Customer Success Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be dedicated to ensuring our partners receive seamless execution, proactive issue resolution, and exceptional service across every touchpoint.

🌢️ Your Impact in This Role - Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Success Analyst, you will bridge customer needs with operational excellence, serving as a trusted point of contact for our key partners and internal revenue-generating teams.

You'll own:

  • Receive, validate, and accurately enter customer purchase orders and order line items, confirming quantities, pricing, delivery requirements, and other key details against agreed contract terms.
  • Maintain complete and up-to-date order records, case updates, documentation, and status fields so Customer Service, Supply Chain, Logistics, and other stakeholders are working from reliable information.
  • Monitor order execution and proactively follow up on open actions, dependencies, and deadlines, escalating risks or delays early with the relevant context.
  • Prepare customer invoices for review, validating quantities, pricing, contract terms, and supporting documentation before submission for CSM approval.
  • Maintain contract balance tracking and prepare forecast-versus-actual, order, and revenue accuracy inputs for weekly and monthly business reviews.
  • Perform first-level investigation of order, pricing, quantity, documentation, and invoicing discrepancies, gathering the relevant facts, identifying the likely source of the issue, and escalating when further resolution is required.
  • Identify inconsistencies, recurring errors, or workflow bottlenecks and raise opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency, and the stakeholder experience.
  • Maintain organized contract and order documentation, ensuring records are accurate, accessible, and aligned with established procedures.
  • Support the documentation and continuous improvement of SOPs and operational workflows in partnership with the Business Process Excellence team.
  • Communicate clearly and proactively with internal stakeholders, providing timely updates, asking clarifying questions when information is incomplete, and helping ensure issues move toward resolution rather than remaining open.

Required Skills

  • Ready to take ownership of order entry from day one, with the discipline to validate details and maintain accurate, reliable records.
  • Experience in supply chain, sales operations, order management, and/or customer service; exposure to food, ingredients, or CPG is a strong plus.
  • Comfortable working with Airtable, Excel, and operational data, with the ability to maintain accuracy while managing a high volume of transactions.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a habit of catching inconsistencies, asking questions when something does not look right, and validating information before moving it forward.
  • Professional written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely across customers and internal teams.
  • Proactive follow-through: tracks open items, communicates progress, and does not wait for someone else to identify that something is stuck.
  • Good judgment around escalation: raises risks, discrepancies, or missing information early, bringing the relevant facts and context rather than silently absorbing problems.
  • Analytical curiosity: comfortable investigating discrepancies, comparing information across systems, and helping identify recurring issues or opportunities to improve the process.
  • Customer and stakeholder mindset: understands that accurate orders, timely updates, and reliable information directly shape the customer experience.
  • Learning agility and adaptability: comfortable working in a fast-moving environment, learning new processes and tools, and taking on unfamiliar tasks with curiosity and initiative.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field (preferred)
  • 1+ years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or Sales Operations
  • Experience in tech-enabled logistics, supply chain, or global food trading (preferred)

Mindset & Working Style

We're looking for an operational partner who takes complete ownership. You are relational, patient, and methodical, understanding that long-term customer trust is built through consistency and precision over time.

🌍 Remote Work & Contract Setup

  • Remote, global team we’re fully distributed and work across multiple time zones.
  • Contractor model, 40 hours per week, with flexibility to overlap with U.S. and global customer hours and other team members.
  • We care about progress, clear communication, and being good humans, not about you being online 24/7. We expect you to manage your energy, communicate boundaries, and act with ownership.

If you want to be a driving force behind customer retention, work within a global food supply chain company, and join a team that values progress, Ubuntu, and sweating the details - we'd love to meet you.
