Sales Development Representative
JomablueAbout Us
Jomablue is a premium enterprise event technology company, trusted by some of the world's leading organisations to deliver complex, high-stakes events.
With over 25 years in the events industry, that heritage shows in everything we build and every event we deliver. Named ‘Best Event Management Platform’ at the Event Technology Awards and certified as a ‘Great Place to Work’, the recognition reflects what we have always believed: that the people in our team matter as much as the experiences we create for our customers.
Our customers range from global tech giants to iconic Australian brands, and they come back to us because of two things: the quality of our technology and solutions, and the quality of the people behind it.
We are a close, passionate team of genuine human beings who love what we do. The kind of team where people laugh hard, hold each other to a high standard, and actually want to come to work!
If you want to do meaningful work, at a company that is growing and continues to prove itself . . . this is your chance.
The Role
The Senior Sales Development Representative reports to the Head of Sales and owns the top of the funnel: researching target accounts, running outbound, and booking qualified first meetings for the Account Executive team.
This is a pure outbound pipeline-generation role. You don't carry a closing quota — your job is to make sure the AEs never run short of well-qualified conversations. You'll work a defined account universe across our core enterprise event platform and our Sponsor & Exhibitor Manager (SEM) solution, prospecting into event and marketing teams at global technology companies, professional associations, agencies and organisations running large-scale expos and conferences across Australia, ASEAN and the UK.
You're coachable, consistent and competitive with yourself. You like a clear process, you show up every day and work it, and you take pride in booking meetings that AEs are glad to take — not just meetings that hit a number.
It's built for someone who has been a successful SDR for a minimum of 1-2 years and will suit someone who wants a structured path into an AE seat. You'll learn advanced discovery, qualification and deal mechanics from the inside, with a clear line of sight to promotion.
