About Fragrances of Ireland Ltd

About Us

INIS - the Energy of the Sea - is the signature fragrance of Fragrances of Ireland, a family-owned, independent boutique perfumery that has spent more than 40 years crafting ocean-fresh fragrance, seaweed-enriched body care, and home scent inspired by the wild Atlantic coast of Ireland. What began around a kitchen table has grown into a brand beloved by gift retailers and their customers around the world, while staying true to its independent, family-run roots. Our key channel focus is that of Independent Gift Retailers, Lifestyle and boutique retailers who choose curated and considered ranges not available in the mass market. Our growth strategy is deliberate & strategic. We want to build carefully in the right accounts and deepen our loyal independent base - growing the brand without ever losing the boutique character that sets INIS apart.

About the role

This is a growth-path role for an ambitious, early-career salesperson who wants to learn the US gift market from the ground up and grow into greater sales and account responsibility over time. You will work closely with our North America Sales Manager - supporting the accounts and rep network that drive the business today and steadily taking on more opportunity as you develop.

If you are hungry, organized, and want a brand worth believing in and room to prove yourself, this is a rare chance to grow with a beloved, independent company.

What you'll do

Support Sales and Growth (the heart of the role)

  • Support the North America Sales Manager in growing current customer base and developing new Independent, key- account and multi-door opportunities - always in a way that protects the brand’s boutique positioning and complements our current base. Build data driven but compelling category stories tailored to each new customer.
  • Follow up on and qualify leads, with disciplined, timely follow-through that turns interest into orders.
  • Vet and research new accounts and locations, helping decide where the brand will fit.
  • Learn & build the selling story. Build familiarity with category, data driven and merchandising thinking and star contributing and creating presentations that win and grow customers.

Grow into rep-network support

  • Support our independent rep groups - Acting as a reliable point of contact, coordinating information, and, as you develop, taking on more hands-on rep-group management over time with focus on Midwest and West.
  • Produce and send the monthly rep reports and use them to help track territory performance.

Support the operational backbone

A real and valued part of this role is keeping the business running smoothly - and, over time, making these processes faster and simpler for everyone.

  • Manage data files - keeping account, rep, and sales records accurate and up to date.
  • Support trade-show setup and logistics - the multiple registration portals each show requires, plus reservations and show details. Attend key Trade shows in alignment with NA sales manager.
