Role Overview
As a Sales Development Representative, you will drive the top of our sales funnel by identifying, contacting and qualifying prospective customers. You will partner closely with our Account Executives to turn outbound and inbound leads into high-intent discovery meetings with our ICP.
Key Responsibilities

- Account Research: Research target institutions and map buying committees across compliance, disputes, and payments compliance
- Lead Qualification: Assess inbound and outbound leads using the SPIN qualification framework, building towards the MEDDPICC criteria our AEs use to run deals.
- Meeting Booking: Schedule qualified discovery calls and product demonstrations for AEs
- CRM & Data Hygiene: Keep HubSpot clean and current, logging calls, sequence steps, notes and clear next steps on each account
- AE Handoffs: Brief AEs on every booked meeting, covering the prospect's pain points, stakeholders and context.
- Process Iteration: Test and refine outbound messaging and sequences each quarter to improve response and conversion rates.
What We Look For
- Experience: 0–3 years in sales, business development or customer-facing roles (a background in B2B SaaS, payments, banking or fintech is a plus).
- Tool Proficiency: Experience with a CRM (ideally HubSpot) and sales intelligence tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Apollo.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal English; confident handling objections on the phone and by email with senior stakeholders. Additional European languages are a plus.
- Curiosity: Genuine interest in payments and the willingness and aptitude to learn a new domain quickly.
- Resilience & Drive: Self-motivated and comfortable with rejection in a high-activity role
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, communications or a related field (preferred, not required).
- Competitive base salary with uncapped commission
- A structured SDR-to-Account Executive development programme
- Regular one-to-one coaching from experienced enterprise AEs
- Hybrid working (3 to 4 days per week in office)
- Bi-annual onsite company events in Zurich
- Collaborative workspace: Work from a historic building only two minutes away from the Oerlikon station, with a park next door and great food/ coffee options. Alternatively, great coworking spaces are available for employees in select locations
- (If in Zurich) Dog friendly office: Bring your furry friends to the office!
- Give back to the community: Enjoy five extra days beyond your annual holiday allowance to give back to society through volunteering or community work
