Our exceptional team includes nearly 100 analysts with deep experience, allowing us to provide a unique micro-to-macro perspective across 35 industries in a way our clients could never achieve on their own.
CreditSights provides unparalleled credit intelligence and tools supporting our clients’ growth, efficiency, and risk management objectives. We provide business leaders with the knowledge to confidently navigate an evolving marketplace.

How You’ll Make an Impact:
This is a hybrid sales role combining account management of an existing book of business with new logo acquisition across the Japan and Korea markets. You will bring a "hunter" mindset—identifying, qualifying, and closing opportunities—while also deepening relationships within existing accounts to ensure retention and expansion. This role is central to driving CreditSights' growth engine in two of our most strategically important markets.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management
- Manage and grow an existing book of business, working closely with Client Success Managers, product specialists, and fellow account managers to deliver a coordinated client experience.
- Drive company revenue growth while maximizing client value and embedding CreditSights into clients' workflows.
New Business Acquisition
- Identify and engage prospective clients across Banks, Insurers, Private Wealth, Hedge Funds, and Asset Managers.
- Develop and execute business development strategies targeting both greenspace (new logos) and whitespace (expansion within existing accounts) opportunities.
- Build and maintain a robust, well-qualified sales pipeline.
Market Outreach & Strategy
- Design and execute market outreach programs aligned with regional strategic priorities.
- Partner with the market development team and senior management to identify and cultivate emerging market opportunities.
- Expand your professional network through industry associations, relevant forums, and close collaboration with Marketing.
Sales Process Management
- Source leads, progress opportunities, and maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all sales activity and client interactions in the CRM.
- Continuously uncover new business opportunities within existing accounts across all CreditSights service lines.
- Own the full sales cycle, from initial engagement through to closed-won.
You May Be a Good Fit If You Have
- 8+ years of experience in customer-facing, quota-carrying sales, account management, or relationship management roles—ideally within data, financial information vendors, banking, or broker/dealer environments.
- Strong understanding of the Asia Pacific financial markets landscape, particularly credit markets.
- Demonstrated ability to articulate and position the value of CreditSights' content and products to solve clients' key business challenges.
- A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Strong relationship-building and client management skills, with the ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder accounts.
- Comfort collaborating cross-functionally with senior management and internal teams.
- A self-starter mentality with a hands-on approach, well-suited to a growth-phase business.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English.
- Fluent Japanese is required (business level or above).
- Willingness to be based in Singapore with frequent travel to Japan and Korea.
What Would Make You Stand Out
- A growth-oriented mindset and entrepreneurial drive.
- Experience within DCM, fixed income, or credit investment functions.
- Fluency in Korean.
- A consistently strong sales track record, evidenced by quota attainment history.
- Comfort and fluency using AI tools to enhance productivity and client engagement.
