This is a paid internship, at competitive rates.  The Memorial Day and 4th of July holidays are paid days off.

CNO Financial Group is hiring a Sales Enablement Intern to join our Worksite team for a single, summer-long project. You’ll use research, data, and in-market experiments to help our Agents connect with Employers and Employees and see your ideas turned into measurable results.

We’re looking for a curious, driven student who enjoys solving real business problems. No prior industry experience required, just a strong interest in how sales, marketing, and technology work together.

Core responsibilities and deliverables:

  • Build campaign briefs for business customers, identifying what's driving engagement and what isn't.
  • Help design and run experiments to improve demand generation, customer engagement, and scheduling rates.
  • Research and recommend new campaign ideas for emerging markets.
  • Analyze marketing and sales data to find ways to improve results.
  • Partner with Marketing and Compliance teams on a real, cross-functional project.
  • Recommend process improvements based on your findings.

What you need (Minimum requirements):

  • Progress toward a bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, Communication, Information Systems, Economics, or related fields.
  • Rising junior or rising senior status (expected graduation December 2027–June 2028).
  • Availability to work 40 hrs/week for 10–12 weeks during the summer.
  • Based in, or willing to work, Central or Eastern time zone business hours.

What will set you apart (Preferred experience):

  • Interest in the intersection of sales, marketing, and technology (MarTech, CRM, digital marketing).
  • Systems thinker, curious about AI
  • Coursework or concentration in Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) with a MarTech or Digital focus.
  • Digital Marketing Technology or Marketing Analytics programs.
  • Comfort working with marketing data, marketing systems, and/or a B2B sales or enablement environment.

What you’ll gain:

  • A paid, full-time summer role owning a real project for CNO Financial Group’s Worksite division (Optavise).
  • Direct exposure to how a Fortune 500 company runs B2B2C sales enablement, sales Go-To-Market and campaign strategy.
  • Resume-ready experience in research, data analysis, project coordination, and executive-level presentation.
  • Mentorship from sales enablement leadership and the chance to see your recommendations implemented.

The CNO 2027 internship program will run May 17 through August 06, 2027.
