Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Sales Engineer at Brix Engineering Pte Ltd. The Sales Engineer will engage with existing and prospective industrial customers to understand their automation and analytical needs, recommend appropriate technical solutions, and prepare proposals and quotations. Daily responsibilities include conducting product presentations and demonstrations, providing pre- and post-sales technical support, and coordinating with internal technical teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions. The role involves managing sales pipelines, following up on leads, maintaining accurate records in CRM tools, and supporting customer service activities such as troubleshooting and issue resolution. The Sales Engineer will also stay updated on product developments and industry trends to effectively communicate value to customers and contribute to business growth.
Qualifications
- Strong Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills, with the ability to understand industrial automation and analytical systems and translate them into practical solutions.
- Proficiency in Sales and Customer Service, including lead management, relationship building, and delivering responsive, professional support to clients.
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present technical information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Relevant experience in industrial automation, process instrumentation, or analytical equipment is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams online.
- Comfort with using CRM systems, productivity tools, and virtual communication platforms.
- Diploma or degree in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
- Willingness to learn, adapt to new technologies, and occasionally travel for customer meetings or training if required.
